1. GENERAL SERVICE TERMS

1.1 Payment Terms: All services are provided on a strictly Cash on Delivery (COD) basis. Payments are due upon completion of the appointment via debit card, credit card, or cash. New customers requiring credit terms must submit a written application for approval prior to booking.

1.2 Cancellation & Modification: Appointments may be managed online through the link provided in your confirmation email or by scanning the provided QR code. All modifications or cancellations must be finalized at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

1.3 Technician Arrival: While we strive for punctuality, please allow a one-hour window before and after your scheduled time for technician arrival. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen operational requirements.

1.4 Scope of Service: Standard fees apply to leak detection services only. Quotations for subsequent repairs are available upon request.

1.5 Liability: 1300FINDLEAK PTY LTD acts as the Principal and is not liable for the conduct or actions of independent contractors.

1.6 Reporting: Please allow up to 14 days for the completion and delivery of formal reports.

1.7 Neighboring Access: Our "Leak Find Guarantee" is subject to the customer providing or arranging necessary access to neighboring properties if the source of the leak is suspected to be off-site.

2. BALCONY FLOOD TESTING (CONCRETE FLOORS ONLY)

2.1 Methodology: These terms apply to comprehensive flood tests conducted on concrete balcony floors above affected areas. This is a two-stage process designed to ensure maximum accuracy.

2.2 Pricing: The initial visit is charged at $398. The mandatory follow-up visit on the subsequent day is charged at $198.

2.3 Site Preparation: The balcony must be fully cleared of furniture, planters, and debris prior to the first visit. The surface must be clean and free of animal waste. Failure to meet these requirements may result in rescheduling and additional fees.

2.2 Exploratory Works: Customers must exercise extreme caution during any excavation or exploratory work based on our findings. We strongly recommend engaging licensed professionals for any construction or excavation activities.

2.3 Accuracy Limitations: Precision in locating underground utilities or pipes can be affected by terrain changes, unforeseen obstacles, or past modifications. We cannot guarantee the absolute condition or location of these assets. It is crucial that individuals and contractors exercise due diligence, conduct proper site surveys, and consult with appropriate professionals before proceeding with any excavation or exploratory works. Following established industry standards and obtaining necessary permits and approvals are essential to ensure the safety and integrity of the project.

2.4 Risk Acceptance: By utilizing our services, you acknowledge that any subsequent works are conducted at your own risk. 1300FINDLEAK PTY LTD is not liable for losses, injuries, or damages resulting from reliance on our guidance. 3. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & REPORTING

3.1 This report is not an all-encompassing report dealing with the building from every aspect.

3.2 It is a reasonable attempt to identify any obvious or significant defects apparent at the time of the inspection.

3.3 Whether or not, a defect is considered significant or not depends to a large extent, upon the age, type, and condition of the building or pool inspected.

3.4 This report is not a certificate of compliance with the requirements of any act, regulation, ordinance, or by-law. It is not a structural report.

3.5 Should you require any advice of a structural nature you should contact a structural engineer.

3.6 ROOF INSPECTION SAFETY

The roof covering will not be walked upon if, in the opinion of the technician, it is not safe to do so. Generally, issues that prevent roof access include, access height over 3 metres, steep pitch, wet/slippery surfaces, and deteriorated covering. Not being able to walk a roof significantly limits our inspection, which can result in hidden defects going undetected. The technician cannot and does not offer an opinion or warranty as to whether the roof may be subject to future leakage.
